The agreement
These terms govern use of the OpsSense website and, together with an order form and (where applicable) hardware terms, the OpsSense platform. Enterprise customers typically execute a master agreement that supersedes these standard terms.
The service
OpsSense provides the platform as described in the applicable order, with the availability targets and support levels of the purchased tier. We update the platform continuously; material reductions in functionality are communicated in advance.
Hardware
OpsSense sensors and gateways are supplied under the hardware terms in your order, including warranty, replacement, and firmware-update commitments. Hardware specifications are stated per model at the time of order.
Customer data
Your data is yours. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service. On termination, data is exportable in full and deleted on request within the contractual window.
Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to breach isolation between tenants, no resale without a partner agreement. Safety-relevant configurations (permits, lockout workflows) must be validated by the customer for their regulatory context.
Liability and disputes
Liability caps, warranty disclaimers, and governing law are set out in the executed agreement per region. [confirm with counsel: default governing law and venue]
