Senior Backend Engineer
You will build the services that carry sensor telemetry, work orders, and AI agent actions for industrial sites that cannot tolerate downtime. The platform ingests high-frequency IoT data, syncs with ERPs, and serves multi-tenant enterprise customers across the GCC and beyond.
What you will do
- Design and operate backend services for work-order management, asset data, and real-time telemetry ingestion.
- Build and harden integration paths to SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, SCADA, and BACnet systems.
- Own multi-tenant data isolation, RBAC, and audit logging as first-class features.
- Scale time-series pipelines that take sensor data from the Edge gateway to agents and analytics.
- Set and uphold standards for reliability, observability, and incident response.
What you bring
- 5+ years building backend systems in production, with strong fundamentals in databases, queues, and API design.
- Experience with high-volume data ingestion or time-series workloads.
- Track record operating multi-tenant SaaS with real uptime obligations.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns; ERP or industrial-protocol experience is a plus.
- You debug from evidence, write postmortems without blame, and leave systems simpler than you found them.
